Pre-Grout Protector is a water-based polymer emulsion specifically designed to protect tiles prior to grouting.

The temporary protective coating protects surfaces against discolouration when using pigmented grouts.

Formulated for porcelain but also ideal for most tile surfaces including ceramics, marble, mosaics, natural stone tiles and terrazzo.

An essential part of any tilers’ toolbox removing any potential need to re-grout or re-tile.

Installation Guide

Supplied ready to use, do not dilute.

Always test a small hidden portion of the substrate before use, to ensure the final result is satisfactory.

Step 1. Shake

Shake container well before each use.

Step 2. Apply

Apply prior to grouting, using a clean pro sponge, brush or roller. Rub well onto the surface of the tile, avoid application to joints.

Step 3. Wait

Allow 15 minutes for sealer to dry.

Step 4. Second Coat

Apply a second coat and allow to dry for minimum 1 hour (depending on temperature).

Step 5. Apply Grout

Once dry apply grout as required.

Further Information

Some of the sealer will be removed during the washing-off process.

Any residual sealer can be removed with clean water after grouting has set for larger areas a power washer can be used.

 

 

Important Information

Only suitable for Terracotta and Natural Stone Tiles if the surface is smooth.
DO NOT allow product to get into the joints.
DO NOT use in temperatures below 5 degrees celsius in damp conditions.
