We have had an exceptionally dry summer across the UK, in fact it has been the driest summer on record for many areas of the country. However the rain will return and you should remember that whilst traditional pointing methods will not be possible, EASYJoint can still be used – Rain or shine it goes in fine! As we say – ‘the wetter the better!’
The water serves several purposes, it helps to make the EASYJoint flow across the paving and self compact into the joints. It also helps to reduce the risk of staining to the paving, acting as a barrier against the natural oils present in the EASYJoint.
After application, wash the patio down removing excess oil residue and EASYJoint grains. We also recommend washing shoes or boots afterwards to remove any oil you may have picked up during the application.
